Hello hello!!!!

Here we are, in Maceió, capital city of Alagoas state, the first beach of the trip: everyone is really happy here!! The weather is good during these days; it’s sunny and very hot!

We arrived here last Thursday morning, after sleeping in Aracajú to spend the night and rest a little!

As soon as we arrived here, we went out to visit the Natural pools of Pajuçara Beach. Just after, the students had free time to have lunch and get to know the beautiful handicraft of Maceió.

At night, we danced forró at Lampião, a traditional forró house, in front of the sea.

Our students enjoyed a lot!! They could practice everything they learned in Brasilia, during the first forró class. Some of them can be REALLY considered experts!!

Yesterday morning, we woke up early and went to Barra de São Miguel where we took a boat to cross to Gunga Beach, one of the most beautiful of the Northeast. We stayed there for more than five hours, and the students swam and had a lot of fun!! After this visit, we went to get to know the Pontal Fair, famous for its beautiful handicraft.

We had dinner at the hotel and just after….PARTY!!!!! I took all students to a show of a famous singer from Bahia, IVETE SANGALO!!! Everybody danced a lot, including our chaperones Louise and Marlene!!

At this exact moment, everybody is sleeping, because this morning is free to relax.

After lunch, we’re going to Fortaleza, in the state of Ceará and from there I’ll send more news!
